Half way through a 5 day stay at the Rosery. First time visiting but I've found it excellent as a place to stay on business. The room is spacious and warm and the bed is very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The room has everything you need, hairdryer, toiletries, refreshments. The staff have been very friendly. No complaints.
Good location and stop off point, large room, decor needs refreshing, ok nights sleep, need a topper on the mattress as quite hard, no blackout curtains amd churchbells ring throughout the night. Food was average not many vegetarian options available yet dessert was very nice, strange to see xmas decoratuons still up. Staff are polite. Would stay again if in the area.
This is not a four star hotel. It is a three at max. Very outdated hotel. And noisy because of the road and creaking. The WiFi is non existent.
Great venue for a prize presentation. Just the right size for our group. Clean friendly and good food.
It was a traditional set up. The beds were comfortable (3 adults- 1 double and 1 single). We were fortunate that we had light luggage as there was no lift and we had to take 2 flight of stairs. The room is spacious enough, although no chair was available and an odd sink was placed in front of a mirror within the room. The en-suite was decent in size. The disappointment was the heating. It was way too hot and we were unable to adjust the setting as there was no knob to do it. We had to open a window to let air in resulting to incoming noise as our room was facing the road. Breakfast was average,with full english available and some continental selection on the buffet.
