Probably the worst customer service i have ever experienced from not only the staff but there chief executive Mr Byrne. DO NOT book this hotel if you want to use the spa facilities as in Mr Byrnes words - you are not permitted to partake. The spa facilities are under refurbishment however this is not stated on there website and they do not tell you this upon booking. The staff at all levels are rude and clearly need customer service training.The only positive to this hotel, is there restaurant. The food is excellent and so are the staff that work in the restaurant.
Used the conference facilities for a day.We found the venue to be very comfortable.We would use Bedford Lodge again however we found the service was a little forgetful and slow - forgetting to bring drinks and having to chase several times.The bar is also very nice and a good selection of beers for a small bar.
Just a lovely hotel. Really comfy beds,tea making facilities perfect. Breakfast was a delight, cooked to order and plenty of staff,very impressed.
Wow, this place is beautiful. Our friends got married here, and we came for the reception. The venue is so stunning, the staff were very friendly and the food was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a wedding venue.
I stayed here for one night with my girlfriend to celebrate our anniversary, it really was excellent. The location is fantastic as it's just a short 5 minute drive from the center of Newmarket, which is nice to walk around. The staff were so friendly and polite when we first arrived, and we were straight into our room within 5 minutes. The super deluxe room really was lovely! It had a really comfy large bed, so we both slept very well. Also the room was equipped with Sky HD, which was a major bonus we both both enjoyed in the evening. The following morning we enjoyed our included breakfast, which was fantastic. Loads of options to choose from on the menu, but we both opted for the full English which was very tasty! After breakfast we made the most of the spa facilities before we checked out, which was very relaxing before our drive home. Overall our experience was brilliant at the Bedford Lodge, right from when we checked in to the moment we checked out. We will definitely be back!
