Great food and drinks. Good service as well.

The White Hart is a pretty great pub all in all. There's a good selection of food and drink, both of which I've ever been disappointed with. Staff are friendly, even when it gets busy and, oh boy, does it get busy. Friday and Saturday evenings are frequently jam full of bodies all trying to talk and get to the bar. At these busy times expect to be drowned in booming music, squashed between sweaty strangers, and wait 10+ minutes for a drink. If you're out to have a bev and listen to some music on the weekend then it's a great choice though, don't get me wrong; It's not the sort of place you go at the weekend for a nice catch up with mates you won't be able to hear them.If, however, you're just out for a drink (or meal, the food is very good) during the week then you're in for a treat.Prices are pretty high, verging on 'London Pricing'. That said, it does seem as though that's the way many non-London locations are trending these days and the quality is high, so I can't complain too much.
A nice place to eat. I haven't been there at night to comment on that but have been twice for a meal out in the day and have not been disappointed.
With many choices on the way from the states, through London and finally arriving in Newmarket, the White Hart came through for us with flying colors. Reasonable, immaculately kept, and a staff that multi-tasked round the clock, thank you all for making our annual December visit to HQ smooth as ever. Robert Knolhoff
