This is an amazing place for a beer before racing. Situated just off the main high street it avoids the yobs and has good ales and friendly service.

Good fun as lots of people go there but one of the worst services I have ever received. Must have been waiting at the bar for over an hour for a drink so me and all my friends decided to go else where after a couple of rounds. Strongly recommend them getting more staff desperately as I know they had a lot of other angry customers there too.
