Good substantial food as you would expect. Plenty of it and very tasty.
I thought this place was perfect for a date night with my wife! The restaurant is very clean and cozy, all the decor is beautifully themed like a little Polish forest lodge. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly and prompt. There was a slight wait for the food as I believe it might be a small kitchen, but the taste of all the food made it worth the small wait. I would absolutely return.
Friendly with a great atmosphere. Polish people eat here so it must be good. We love it, be sure to be very hungry!
Very nice restaurant, with all the popular polish dishes and drinks, some authentic meals from the mountainous region of Poland as well. I had the goulash and potato pancakes, which was very tasty and jearty. They have an extensive drinks menu, and knowledgeable staff. Always friendly and willing to share and teach polish customs and treats. I would recommend this restaurants if you are looking for something different and interesting in Newmarket.
The first visit was excellent. We had the pork knuckle and the lamb soup and it was amazing, lots of food and very tasty. We walked out very happy and very satisfied. Today (12 July) which is our second visit, we order the lamb soup to go and it was extremely disappointing, it was the complete opposite of the first visit. The lamb soup barely had any cabbage, potatoes or lamb. In fact, my soup had three small pieces of potatoes, a little bit of cabbage and the tiniest piece of lamb I have ever seen. It seems like we ordered hot flavored water. I wish I could post a video because the photos won't demonstrate the injustice that was committed. We will see next time and will update.
