The chicken was very tough. Flavour poor. The rice ok. Probably the most disappointing Indian I have had. Not to be repeated.

This is the only Indian place to eat at in Newmarket, and the only one we ever order from. It's a family hit! Portions are generous, delivery is usually very quick, and we have not had tastier dishes locally (we have tried several from their menu, and have not been disappointed. Even my picky four-year-old has a favorite :) ) They are always very friendly and helpful, both over the phone, and in the restaurant. The prices are more than fair, in my opinion, especially with how delicious the meals. are. I have even consulted the owner on which dishes are safe for me to eat, as I must eat gluten-free, and he is very knowledgeable and has given me ample choices, despite having a more restrictive diet. We are loyal customers, for sure!
If we ever have an Indian we always choose the Cinnamon Indian Takeaway. Last night we ordered our usual to be delivered. As the guy gave us our food he asked if we would please leave a review after our meal.Unfortunately it wasn't the review we expected to be writing here. We were really dissapointed and thought maybe there was a different chef this time. The portions were good and there was plenty of chicken in our dishes but we couldn't eat the chicken as it was overcooked and very tough and the dishes as a whole just were not up to their usual standards Maybe we will have to try somewhere different next time.
