Visited this practice in Newmarket several times with my cat daisy. Very spacious waiting area segregated for different animals. Really friendly and helpful staff and have been lucky to see vet Helen several times. She is very knowledgeable and really professional and helpful, and daisy really liked her which made the whole experience very easy. Would definitely recommend this practice.
My first ever vets 4 pets experience was a very bad one. It was a store in London, in which my dog was sick and they spent far too long redoing blood tests and urine samples of which all showed nothing. By the time they finally suggested an x-ray it was too late. Wed taken her to another vets when she began fitting in my arms and then the waiting room floor and then rushed through to be pts. I was 15 and she 1, also my first and so far only puppy.Newmarket vets for pets has since changed my mind. Ian is the only exotic vet near me which I use for my rats. I have also since has Nora and a couple of the other girls, all of which have been great in getting my lot better and gave me the confidence to know that they actually care about my pets rather than the money, and that they know a thing or two. It's not easy to find a vets that knows what they're doing when it comes to rats and so since they've done such a good job changing my mind on the chain this store get full marks :)
Unfortunately I had to put my bunny rabbit to sleep. The care and compassion they showed me and my little Dexter at this heart breaking time was priceless. They also sent a handwritten card and forget me nots to plant in his memory. I was truly touched and very appreciative of this kind gesture. They also didn't rush me in terms of coming to a decision on what to do with his remains so i had some time to grieve a little before making my decision.
Love love love them. We have a CAG parrot and thought we may have to travel a way to see an exotic specialist. Who knew at Vets4pets they have a number of them! The staff were lovely and made sure we knew what was going on. Will definitely go there again (when the need is called for!)
I own a female rabbit who has had various complications over the past 6 months. I travel for 90 minutes to see Iain Cope at this practice as he is an expert with rabbits. I wouldn't go anywhere else. A highly skilled doctor, very caring, polite and open minded about various treatment options. Sophie is great too and all the staff so far have gone out of their way to help. A very efficient team including reception staff Ella, Jess, Nadine. Well done!
