Gold Standard care. Highly, HIGHLY recommended. We were given three choices, with AHT being the 3rd, by our local vet for a biopsy and MRI. We contacted the first choice who seemed interested not in our dog, just our money. We then did some background checking on all three and found to our horror/disgust, two of them had very poor feedback exactly as we had found, just primarily interested in the money. AHT had good reviews, so my wife contacted them. Initially they could not see us for three days, which we booked, but then the receptionist called us back and said they could fit us in the following day, we had to be there early, but took the appointment. We arrived an hour early and having completed the forms sat for a while in the reception before being called in to a consulting room. The oncologist took a great deal of time to talk through what the various options were and what the likely outcomes would be. He was SO caring & compassionate and we clearly had made the best choice. We were there all day and we were the last to leave the site at 19:00hrs. All of the staff were so caring, but of special mention: Lisa, the secretary and Angelo Capasso our oncologist, their customer care skills could not be bettered in any way and Angelo is outstanding, which I feel is considered the "norm" here, whoever you get to see.If you love you animal then you already understand, it is not about the money, it is about doing the very best you can for them. I genuinely believe you could not find any better care anywhere, than the care you receive from AHT, based on the treatment we have so far received.
We were so close to losing our darling boy this week when he started bleeding from his nose. The vet prescribed antibiotics but last Saturday he started bleeding profusely. He was rushed to the emergency vet but they couldnt do anything for him except sedate him and stem the bleeding enough to travel to the AHT. Danny arrived at midnight and the work the team there were able to do to prevent him bleeding out was nothing short of a miracle and I am in no doubt they saved our gorgeous boys life. As it transpired it was a simple foreign body such as a grass seed that had stuck in his nose and caused trauma and inflammation. Thank you so much to Yordan and his team for his patience in dealing not only with Enzo but consultations during which both my boys manage to poo Cant recommend this place highly enough. They truly love animals. We will be forever grateful that our beautiful boy is home safe and Leo is thrilled to have his woof woof home again safe and sound.
This review should have been posted 5 years ago. my gorgeous whippet Nina 6 months old ate some codeine , they managed to save her , but her eyes were damaged beyond repair , another vet said he could save her , he did not have the right equipment in my belief, she sadly died because i did not bring her back to AHT , the staff were amazing , so kind , so caring and used to come and cuddle Nina if we were in reception X
They are amazing people will do everything they can to make your pet feel loved & cared for. Our beautiful doggie Molly had spent some time there this year! Anita Shea & her team did everything in their power to make her well again butsadly it weren't to be & we said goodbye to Molly on Easter Sunday. I would put my trust in them again they do wondful things xxx
