We stayed for 5 days over NY but we were left alone during all time. When arrived were given our keys and sent to our room. The were organised events for NYE but we were not invited/informed about them. We were not asked or invited to use the wellness centre (swimming pool, sauna) which was part of our stay.The facilities and room are of high quality and restaurant and bar with very good food and drinks, however there are other places or there with equally high quality but also better customer experience.On their website they advertise their services for been personalised but this was not the case for us. We feel disappointed for booking our NYE here and not see a reason to come back.
A great indoor spa in Newmarket, with two saunas, but (currently) no swimming pool. A range of classic spa treatments can be booked.

Not quite 4 star, in my opinion. Little niggles here & there, however the room was lovely, regularly serviced & very clean. Some confusion on the "chocolate menu" given that it was heavily advertised in the hotel & on website then a late change to menu? Struggling with the idea that a concept menu suddenly, items unavailable. No real explanation. Meals weren't added to account so extra phone calls on way home. Spa was under refurbishment, so difficult to give a fair assessment, although the promise of a glass of bubbles on an email to go with our lunch, turned into a soft drink only, even after query was raised. Treatment excellent however. Maybe it was an off weekend. But after a tortuous drive there, I felt a little let down, it's in the detail for me. A cup without a saucer on the breakfast table? Given that someone just folded the napkin up lovely, no saucer seems a bit - well not quite 4 star.
Highly recommended, such a beautiful place to visit. Food was delicious, I had Emma for my relax and revive massage and she was wonderful nothing was too much for any of the staff. Thank you so much x
