Would not exchange my 10 GBP note, despite witnessing another gentlemen getting his old notes exchanged last week. Luckily I had a bank account (god forbid I was visiting and someone decided to scam me). Which goes to a bigger gripe: What is the point of a fiat currency if the value cannot be traded for goods and services. I can't wait to leave this country sometimes and to think I pay taxes to the UK government from my salary.
I'm always very impressed with the staff here. Very friendly and the manager went above and beyond to ensure my wife got her birthday present on the day (missed a delivery so he called my mobile to let me know when it had been returned to the branch so I could collect it that evening). Can be quite a busy branch but there is plenty of space to queue and the service offered is second to none.
Visited at a quiet time to renew a passport. Staff friendly, helpful and efficient.
Rude staff told couldn't do business banking here because have to arrange it around staff lunch breaks but the lady wouldn't do business banking( because she was on lunch) but would happily do foreign exchange from business counter (obviously she is allowed to do this during lunch) and have a good old jolly laugh with manager and customers. I have closed my three business accounts with post office and Santander simply because of this branch managers attitude him and his staff are a complete disgrace and probably single handedly the reason no one uses post offices anymore would give 0 stars if could as dont even meet any sort of standard for one star , emailed po customer services and was told thay matter would be looked into and still waiting ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL SOONER ANY NEW CUTS FORCE THIS BRANCH TO CLOSE THE BETTER NO ONE DESERVES TO BE WORKING THERE
